Once considered nearly 100% fatal, FIP can now be brought into remission in many cases thanks to GS-441524 based therapy. At FIP Support, we deliver proven treatment protocols and high-quality medication at a fair, accessible price.
No life should be lost to FIP because of treatment cost —
that is where we began, and the promise we continue to keep.
FIP treatment typically costs $3,334–$6,667 in Japan. Because of high drug prices, many owners are unable to start or continue treatment. Through direct sourcing from the manufacturer, eliminating middleman markup, and fair pricing, FIP Support has reduced medication cost to about one-sixth of the market price.
* The figures above are estimated costs for medication supplied by FIP Support. They do not include consultation, testing, or additional treatment fees at the veterinary clinic. Actual dosage and duration should be adjusted by a veterinarian according to the cat's weight, symptoms, and progress. For detailed dosing, see "Protocol" or the "Dosage Calculator".
For rescue organizations, including cat rescue cafés, we offer a support price even lower than the rates above. Use is subject to confirmation of your organization's rescue activities. Please feel free to reach out via our contact form for details.
FIP is broadly divided into the dry (non-effusive) and wet (effusive) forms, which differ in symptoms, rate of progression, and required dosage. Early diagnosis and a form-appropriate approach greatly affect the prognosis.
A type in which granulomas (masses of inflammation) form in various organs. Neurological and ocular symptoms are common; progression is slow, but the treatment period is longer.
A type in which vasculitis causes fluid to leak and accumulate in the abdomen or chest. Systemic symptoms are pronounced and progression is relatively fast, so early intervention is essential.
6 ml vial / 20 mg/ml. For the initial treatment phase (15–25 days), injection is strongly recommended over tablets. We use a low-sting, neutral-pH vial rather than the older "stinging" type.
Used for the oral treatment phase after the injection phase. Please refer to "Protocol" when dosing.
We share treatment protocols, case discussions, and the latest research on note (in Japanese).
